I’m happy WSP is helping our industry with the release of SES 6.0. Beggars can’t be choosers, right? Well, I still have a few critiques of WSP’s release. You can respond with your thoughts in the comments below.
1. Qualified Partner: It appears the program is not publicly available. WSP is the judge and juror of a qualified partner who gets the program.
2. One-Year: The license is only good for one year. What if you are in the middle of a project, and then your license expires? WSP told me they intend to continue licensing the software beyond the year.
3. Source Code: The source code is not released. Without the code, the engineers may not trust the new features (not previously documented in SES 4.1).
